About Me

Artist Statement
I have always been attracted to painting and drawing as a means of creating my own places to play with the stories and images that populate my thoughts and dreams. Using pencil, ink, watercolour, acrylic paint, clay, wire and various papers, I produce a whimsical cast of characters who are not always quite what they seem. The narratives I present with my work invite the viewer to visit a place of fantasy and fairy tales where a mixture of wit and ingenuity inspire a fresh perspective about the world around us.
