In the poem the duck is wearing socks so that he doesn’t give the kangaroo the “roo-matiz” so I drew the duck with little stripey socks. I especially like the socks.

Things have been so crazy lately that I have been having a hard time finding time to sit down and work on anything.

This is the first piece in awhile that I have been able to work on just for me. It was nice to be able to just take my time and play a little bit. I got lost in the process and just let it evolve on its own and I am really happy with the results.

I am really pleased with them – they blend well and erase as promised for highlighted areas. I’m going to spend some more time this afternoon experimenting.
