Pencil sketch of a commission for the poem The Kangaroo & The Duck by Edward Lear. You can read it here.

In the poem the duck is wearing socks so that he doesn’t give the kangaroo the “roo-matiz” so I drew the duck with little stripey socks. I especially like the socks.

Ink, pencil, watercolour on watercolour paper.
